Our Code of Ethics

School Mission Statement:
Wyoming Middle School is a safe and respectful community that values individual differences while engaging in creative educational opportunities to inspire a lifetime of learning and excellence.

Room 306 Philosophy and Goals:
We will promote a language based program designed to meet each child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs that is conducive to the development of a positive self-image and a capacity for self-control in a cooperative and respectful learning environment.

Guiding Principles:
Activities and interactions will be aligned with the goals and philosophy in room 306 and the mission of W.M.S. in the Wyoming City School District.

Each staff member and student will understand their responsibilities to themselves, others and the school environment.

Each individual will be accepted and respected for the strengths and talents that they bring to our classroom community.

All activities and interactions will be evaluated in terms of what is in the best interest of the students in our classroom.

All staff members and students are accountable to themselves, each other and the school community.

These principles will guide us in effective communication and allow each student to develop the self-help, cognitive and life skills necessary for independence and lifelong learning within a nurturing community environment.
